The Bica Funicular has its own station at the bottom of its descent. It takes passengers from Sâo Paulo area near Cais do Sodré to the lower parts of Bairro Alto.

This view of car 1 shows the very different construction compared to the Gloria and Lavra cars which maintain a horizontal floor throughout. The Bica cars have this stepped arrangement and less imposing profile.
