This Red Line is seen in 1998, similar trains operate on the Orange Line. Cars were built by Pullman-Standard, UTDC and - most recently - by Bombardier.

Boston Elevated Railway Brill streetcar 5734
Joining the PCC is 5734, a 1924 Brill car with body built to Boston Elevated Railway's Type 5 design. The Type 5 semiconvertible has the Boston front and the inward taper from window sills to roof, but in most other details it resembles other cars of this period. The car is on long term lone from the Seashore Trolley Museum at Kennebunkport, who have owned it since 1959.
