5835 (G235VWL), another ex Wycombe, ex Oxford, Alexander bodied Olympian making a rare appearence
on Reading services, at a time when the Plaxton Verde Volvos usually held sway and doubledeckers
were a rare occurence.

Wycombe's Alexander bodied Olympians blend well with the Shires own. 5091 (F641LMJ) was amongst
the first doubledeckers ordered by Luton & District back in 1988. This one is lettered for the X66 Luton -
Milton Keynes service and is oddly seen in MK Metro's Winterhill depot.

Here 5101 (G651UPP) is on the Aylesbury stop of the 280 in St Aldates, Oxford. The former
Luton & District Alexander bodied Olympian is on teh route for which City of Oxford bought
its Alexaner bodied Olympians which ended up with Arriva via the Wycombe Bus purchase.
Squeezing past 5101 is Red Rose's then new Optare Solo RR03BUS and Stagecoach Oxford's
ALX300 bodied MAN 22923 (S923CFC).
