Arriva the Shires Leyland Lynx This Lynx is seen freshly Arriva'd in Watford. Many of the Lynx fleet were so treated and concentrated on the long standing 321 service from Luton to Uxbridge, though the southern end of the route has long been curtailed. The Lynxes later gave way to the gas powered DAFs.

Arriva the Shires National Greenway
No Leyland Nationals made it into Arriva livery with the Shires, but several National Greenways managed it and kept going for some years. This example, seen in Aylesbury, was still hard at work in May 2003. The bus originated as Midland Red 477 (JOX477P) but became a Greenway with London & Country as 355 (JIL2195).

3050 (BTX152T) came to the Shires fleet from Parfitts of Rhymney Bridge. It is thought to be based on a London transport 10.3 metre National.

Arriva the Shires Leyland Lynx Lynx H257GEV was new to County Bus & Coach as LX257. It donned Arriva livery and is seen here with TGM's Network Colchester in 2005, still in Arriva colours but with NC logos.

Motts Leyland Lynx This Lynx, ex Motts and originally Atlas Bus, was relegated to driver training duties and is seen in Wycombe Bus' depot after the takeover of Oxford's Wycombe operations by Arriva.
