Reading's batch of four lowbridge Park Royal AEC Regents were noted for their longevity. Here MRD147, renumbered with
fellow Regents 1-3 to 301-304, is seen at the Mill Lane depot sporting its new number.

Sister, MRD146, is seen at sunny Southsea in June 2003. The bus had passed into preservation and reverted
to it original fleet number, 3. However it was still with Reading Transport style white relief rather than
original Reading Corporation cream.

One of the last Reliances delivered to Reading Corporation was 51 (CRD151C). The buses had rare Neepsend coachwork
to a style similar to previous deliveries bodied by Burlingham. They seated only 34, with room for a large number
of standees and dual doors. 51 is seen in Mill Lane dept sporting a rather incongrous "RT" logo.

Reading's Titan fleet arrived in the Reading Transport era and 68 (YJB68T) is seen when new in the town centre.

This rear view of 68 celebrates the assymetrical styling of this Leyland design. Apparently the radiator top up originally required ladder access! One of the Bristol VR jumbos can be seen approaching from Reading Stations.
