At the end of its working days with Thames Valley is this Thornycroft decker

This official photo shows nicely the detailing on the rear bodywork of the
Titan's staircase.

Just before the war Thames Valley received the first of what would be come
its sizeable fleet of Bristol/ECW doubledeckers. Being a full Tilling
company it said goodbye to any more Leylands - at least until the Olympian,
but by then it was no longer THAMES Valley.
