 Maidstone is now home to Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL VLW27 (LJ51DHE) as Arriva Kent & Surrey 6123. It is seen in the town centre in September 2017.

 Arriva Kent Thameside, the other half of Arriva Southern Counties also has some former London Wright bodied doubledeckers, but in this case VDL DB250 buses. Former DW83 (LJ04LFW) is seen working the 500 service from Watford to Aylesbury in Hemel Hempstead in September 2017, a long way from either Kent or Thameside for 6044. The Hemel operations and those north of London operated by Arriva the Shires had been passed to Arriva Southern Counties in January 2016, the rest of the fleet coming under the control of Arriva Midlands

 Arriva Kent Thameside also inherited some older Alexander ALX400 bodied DAF DB250 buses like 6305 (Y526UGC), former DLA326. It too is seen in the 500 in Hemel Watford bound. Note that the circulatory system in Hemel results in buses on the 500 bound in opposite directions approaching the town centre bus stops from the same direction.
