Transdev subsidiary London Sovereign has its roots in the Borehamwood company, BTS. Its orange and yellow livery survived until "red Ken" edicts. The company expanded operations under Blazefield ownership, when the Sovereign name replaced BTS. In 2002 Transdev acquired the company from Blazefield. in 2005.

An eclectic mix of vehicles at BTS' depot in the company's early days. In the forefront is former Green Line Leyland Tiger, Duple Dominant TD25 (YPD125Y). The red doubledeckers for tendered route 292 are Alexander bodied Metrobuses, originally from Scotland. On the left of the picture are an ex London Swift in blue and a former Newport Corporation Metro-Scania. |

Alongside the Scottish Metrobuses, this former Yorkshire Woollen Atlantean operated on the
292. Formerly YWD 774 the bus had a body built by Roe using Park Royal parts.
