Most striking additions to the London fleet - albeit temporarily - were Volvo articulated buses for the 207. Seen when the experimental operation started is AV2 (Y152ROT) in Acton. The bus is on loan from First Southampton, and is the same artic exhibited at EFE SHOWBUS International that year, 2001.

Slightly older Wright bodied artics came down from Glasgow. This one, AV8 (V608GGB), is seen at Shepherds Bush about to set out for Hayes.

AV10 (V610GGB) en route to Shepherds Bush at Acton. Passing Alexander bodied Olympians of Metroline were also classed AV!
