to Capital Citybus as its 351. It is seen here at Walthamstow Bus Station on the 97.

Metrobuses were still doing regular runs on the 207 in 2003. Here M751 passes under
the old Great Western line between Hanwell and Southall.

First Centrewest M338 waiting to take up duty on the 207 to Shepherds Bush from
Uxbridge. Whilst the 607 express route had been upgraded with coach seated Palatine II
Olympians, the 207 still plodded on with the Metrobuses that had taken over from the RMLs.

Seen in Oxford Street, central London, this Centrewest Metrobus carries First Gold Arrow fleetnames,
in common with the midibuses on routes 28 and 31, where the name was first introduced. Route 23
has an interesting history too, as it was a fictitious route number used on LT publicity for many years.

Heading west, though not as far as the Chicago advert
on the side might suggest, is a First Centrewest Metrobus on the 18 near Marylebone.
