London Central T803
An unusual vehicle in the London Central fleet is T803 which had an open top conversion and was used - as suggested here - on night tours of the capital. It is seen in summer 2001.

T172 was painted in the same classic colours - it is seen here on a Bingo contract at Surrey Quays.

London Central T1102
Titan T1102 (B102WUV) was one of several surviving Titans with London Central in 2002. It was also one of the few London buses fitted with an electronic destination blind. Whilst these blinds have been adopted worldwide, for some reason they are not favoured in the British capital.

London Central gold Leyland Titan T172
Lucky T172 (CUL172V) was the only London Titan painted in Golden Jubilee colours. It received special attention at the gold bus launch and played its part in the Gold Run and celebrations at Duxford later in the year where it won the prize for the best TN type Titan. The special prize was part of the "Clash of the Titans" at SHOWBUS in 2002 to celebrate the launch of a new 4mm scale bus model of the Leyland Titan TN and a model of T172 in gold has since been produced as part of LT Museum's Golden Jubilee gift set.
