The 24 hour service fleet of Leyland Titans, instigated by Atlas Bus on the N52 has given way to a smart fleet of dual
door standard Olympians from Metroline, who acquired the Atlas operations. This bus zips through Victoria
at 5.30am

on the 16. The vehicle sports the Alexander R style body.

V212 (L212TWM) had clearly suffered an offside bump recently. It is a Northern Counties Palatine II
Olympian, seen on the W7, but was delivered new to London Suburban as 212.

From the same batch, V214 L214TWM) is seen in 2004 on route 4 in The Aldwych.
Route 4, with the 212, was an original London Suburban tender success.
London Suburban was a subsidiary of Liverpool Suburban and acquisition of
London Northern by Mersey based MTL mirrored the later takeover by MTL of
Liverpool Suburban, thus combining the London operations with London Northern.
