Metroline plc started as a mangement buy out from London Transport, it since floated on the Stock Exchange, acquired neighbouring MTL London North and more distant Scottish Citylink. More recently it has been acquired by Del-Gro, the owners of Singapore Bus Services and various Australian fleets.
