Delivered for the 139 carrying full MTL London insignia, this dual door Marshall Capital Dennis Dart SLF was part of a batch of eighteen, DML1-18 (R681-698MEW) together with shorter single door DMS1-12 (R701-711/699MEW) was amongst the last vehicles delivered new for MTL London operations.

In the bland and slightly dusky looking red of MTL London North is DP234 (K414MGN), a standard Pointer Dart on the 274 from Islington to Marble Arch. The bus was new to R&I Tours as 234, MTL acquiring the company in 1996.

Sister vehicle, DP238 (K418MGN), travelling in the reverse direction, in even blander livery. The bus too was new to R&I Tours as 238.

Less successful is this route 274 Dart seen on tow, having suffered terminal failure whilst in service.
