 First Capital took over route 1 from London Central, initially using their Titans, later Metrobuses were gathered from a variety of sources, mostly First Centrewest - though some Centrewest Metrobuses which had been disposed of to the provinces were recalled. |

 Route 1 later received new Dennis Trident doubledeckers. These two Metrobuses were seen at the Centre Point terminus. |
