 Alongside an Ensignbus ex CIE Olympian at the FA Cup Final at Wembley in 2012 is RML2649 having clearly brought soon-to-be victorious Chelsea supporters to the match against Liverpool. Following withdrawal by Metroline in 2004 the bus spent some years in Wales before returning to the capital in 2008 with the London Bus Company, but was bought by Business B of E16 in 2011 and was probably stilled owned by them when seen at Wembley.

 A faded ex Arriva Routemaster, RML2325 (CUV325C) at the Epsom Derby on the Downs in June 2010 by when it had been withdrawn from regular service for five years.

Also on the Epsom Downs in 2010, and in much better conditions, was Go-Coach AEC Routemaster RML2699 (SMK699F). The bus suffered rear end damage in 1996 and received new stairs and back from RM1287. The following year it passed to MTL London Northern and retired from Metroline service in 2004. The bus was then acquired by The Bus Doctor in Kent and has seen regular use with Go-Coach.
