Around 7000 vehicles comprised the RT family, 4825 AECs (RT), 2131 Leylands (RTL & RTW)
They served London in the post war period for up to 40 years

Green Line RT 3232 KYY961 RT3232 (KYY961) is seen at Showbus 80 at Thorpe Park. The rally was actually held inside the Park not long after the Park had been opened. The vehicle is one of a small batch of RTs delivered in Green Line livery. The livery was about the only concession to their more prestigious role.

Green Line RT 4508 OLD728 RT4508 (OLD728) is seen at an earlier Hillingdon Showbus in 1975.

Green Line RT 3254 RT3254 (LLU613) receives its award at SHOWBUS, Woburn Abbey from Lord Tavistock.

Green Line RT 4494 RT4494 (OLD714) is pretending to be a Green Line RT, but is in normal country area livery but displaying Green Line blinds. In many ways this is authentic as normal service RTs were frequently pressed into Green Line service, particularly on busy occasions when their extra seating capacity gave them an advantage over an RF.

Green Line RT 3228 KYY957 RT3228 (KYY957) is seen at Cobham alongside RF504 (MXX481) which had received a special gold livery to commemorate Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee in 2003.
