Classic Coaches Renault S75 Plaxton
This Renault S75 was new to Welcome of Gateshead. The company was short lived with its fleet of new Plaxton Beaver Renaults and it is believed J232JJR found its way into the Classic fleet, but is seen here in central Birmingham with Travel Express but still in the Status Group livery used on buses in the associated fleets.
 
Classic Coaches Mercedes Marshall Seen in the dark in Newcastle in the winter of 1999 is this Mercedes 811D with Marshall bodywork, new as Merseyrider 7945 (K845OEM).
Classic Coaches Volvo B10M Caetano
The Status Group operated several coaches in contract livery and this Caetano bodied Volvo B10M of Classic is serving the STS organisation (School Travel Service). Appropriately it is found at one of the World War One battlefield sites in Belgium in 2003.
 
Moor-Dale Plaxton The Moor-Dale group was absorbed by Classic and retained a separate identity. One of its Plaxton bodied coaches, believed to be a Volvo B10M, is seen on tour in Barcelona in June 2001.
 
Motts F766EKM and Northumbria 141 Seen together at the Red Lion Hotel in Whittlesford is irregular visitor, Motts ex East Kent coach seated MCW Metrobus F766EKM, alongside regular visitor, Northumbria Van Hool 141 (V141EJR) on overnight layover from a Newcastle - Cambridge service. The Motts bus was conveying the Showbus organisers and served as Parking Reception on the Sunday. The Arriva Northumbria coach passed to Classic of Annfield Plain, under the Moordale licence, with their National Express operations at the end of 2006.
