United Bristol LD6B BL54 (454LHN) receives the finishing touches to its new NBC livery in Darlington works.
 
This unidentified Bristol LD was still at work in Tilling Red and cream.
 
United Bristol FLF6B L195 (FHN595C) has had its NBC livery used as a base for an all over advert for the local brew, Cameron's Strongarm.
 
Nearing the end of its days in 1977 is early Bristol MW5G/ECW bus 2536 (936JHN) in Tilling Red and cream. The bus is one of a number of early MWs built without radiator grills.
 
Heyfordian bought a number of coach seated Leyland Olympians for school work from Arriva, the successor to United. They simply painted the whole bus in Arriva blue and have adopted the livery for contract buses since. ECW bodied 7298RU is seen serving the Wycombe High and John Hampden Grammar schools in July 2011, it was new to United as 265 (C265XEF).
