Eastbourne's 2003 Centenary sort of coincided with Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee, so a pair of
buses were painted gold to celebrate both occasions. Here 55 (GX02WXY) delivered in gold
for the Golden Jubilee in 2002 is seen in Eastbourne on the occasion of the Centenary
celebrations.

126 (P906PWW) is a DAF SB220 with Northern Counties bodywork new to Speedlink Airport Services.
The bus came to eastbourne via Hughes DAF, the dealer. It was painted for the Royal Golden
Jubilee but is seen here in Eastbourne the following year on the day of the Centenary celebrations.
