East Kent NATIONAL AEC Reliance Plaxton Panorama Elite 521FN & National Travel SE Leopard VYM504M
Two coaches at a gloomy Victoria Coach Station in the mid seventies, both rebodied by Plaxton, both
NATIONAL liveried. On the left is a Plaxton Elite bodied AEC Reliance, probably 521FN, new with a Park Royal body. On the right is a National Travel South East Plaxton Supreme bodied Leyland Leopard, VYM504M. Interestingly both fleets eschewed fleet numbers and used only registrations for vehicle identification. As registrations are no longer numeric that would not be an option these days.
