 May 19th 2018 was a special day in Windsor as crowds of weel wishers descended on the Royal town for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. First Great Western trains are responsible for the shuttle train that links the main line at Slough with Windsor. It is single track and obviously the service is limited so a fleet of buses was available to supplement the train. Slough is the main base for what is left of First Berkshire which is managed from Southampton. So several doubledeckers were despatched to Slough to run the shuttle including this former First London Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident 33158 (LR02LXT) which had just dropped its Slough passengers in Windsor Coach Park, the hub of that end of the operation.
