A bit of an imposter here, this Burlingham bodied PD2 was originally Ribble 1466 (JCK541), and would probably feel happier in Ribble red, with a little less cream paint. It found its way down to M&D as a driver trainer and has masqueraded as an M&D vehicle ever since. It is seen enjoying a refreshing shower at North Weald.

 Representing a true Maidstne & District Tian is all PD2 DH400 (NKT896) which was a Showbus regular in the early days at Hillingdon, entered by David Brown from London. David and his bus are seen here at the Showground. |
