 New in Standerwick's cream and red livery as 50 (FCK450G) this was the first of a new generation of motorway express doubledeck coaches for the servies from the capital to the North West. A special version of Bristol's VR chassis reverted to the prototypes' longitudinal engine positio, but also a raised chassis and extended wheel base, the VRTLLH6L. ECW played its part with distinctive coachwork for the luxury decker. Seen in the late seventies, FCK450G is seen at work with Coastal Coaches of Newhaven.
