Not surprisingly Wilts & Dorset has a fleet of Optare Deltas, though only a
small batch of 6, of which this is an example.

Equally the Excel fleet is also small. 3601 (W601PLJ) was the first delivered in 2000, one of two batches of four. A further four were delivered in 2002 for the aborted Poole Park & Ride service. |

It may have been the middle of winter (December 2002) but pictures in Bournemouth
should include a bit of sea seen in front of this Excel.
