That Wilts & Dorset are big Optare fans is no secret,
impressive Spectras have been attending Showbus for some years now, crowned by the first low
floor model in 98. But W&D has also embraced the new low floor Solo midibus, with a huge
initial order which helped production well and truly get under way. The first deliveries went
into service in the Poole area and 2619 (R619NFX) is one of that batch, seen here
at the August 98 Weston rally.
