Leaving Newport Bus Station in May 2004 is Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart SLF 33619 (R619SWO).

 The bus wars of the Welsh Valleys on deregulation claimed many scalps, not least National Welsh and several former municipal operators. Expanding independent Parfitts of Rhymney Bridge was also a victim. They bought this Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Dart with split entrance step, M625KKG, which has ended up as 32970 in the Stagecoach Soth Wales fleet. It is heading for Abbeydale in May 2004. |

 The successor to the Dart is of course the Alexander Dennis Enviro200 and one such with the South Wales fleet is 36848 (CN13AZB) seen in central Cardiff in June 2016.
