In the summer of 2001, Bucks County Council took a strip of land rented by a local Ford dealer and turned it into a layby for buses serving Sir William Borlase's Grammar School in Marlow. As can be seen local residents assumed it was a facility for their use despite the zig zag lines.

Another view of TJI 8303 unable to use the facility provided. In the end the coaches reverted to the layby in West Street, which whilst small was at least accessible. The residents continue to use the facility in 2008.

This Caetano bodied MAN 11.190 oddity is a regular site in Marlow returning from an Oxfordshire school contract, it is seen in West Street in April 2006.
