This bus was a secondhand purchase by City of Oxford and is seen with its original owner in Abingdon. The ECW bodied Leyland Olympian was owned by the UKAEA at Harwell and replaced, with others, an earlier fleet of VRs. The batch was bought by Oxford and ended their days with the company's Wycombe Bus division. |
RAN645R is one of those Bristol VRs, also seen in Abingdon, some years earlier working for the UK Atomic Energy Authority. |
