Former Tube 28 (M107XBW) appeared at Millennium Showbus, shortly after being transferred to
Stagecoach Fife. It had been repainted in white, but was yet to gain Stagecoach decals.

With many bus companies involved in the operation of trains these days, the government is being
persuaded to renew franchises when train/bus connecting services are offered. With Virgin Trains half
owned by Stagecoach, a connecting service from Milton Keynes to Luton Airport was started,
using Berkhof Excellence 1000 bodied Volvos released from the Oxford Tube by the new double deck
MANs. The service is operated by Stagecoach United Counties and the coach is seen at
at Luton Airport.

Stagecoach Midland Red South operate more ex Tube Berkhofs on rail head connections linking towns
without main line connections to the main North - South rail network. 4829VC is seen at Millennium
Showbus.
