 Brisbane's Metroliner B10M buses were a good stop gap measure when Transit Systems took over Region 3 bus services in Sydney from several incumbent operators. Several retained vehicles for school and other contract work. This was Brisbane 239 (239BLE), Transit's 1206 (MO6160) seen in November 2013, less than on month after the franchise started. The bus was thus left in plain white and probably never received NSW livery before disposal to Telfords in April 2015. Picture ref A930 |

 Mercedes were never popular in Brisbane. Prior to the forty Volgren CR228L O500LE buses delivered between 2003 and 2004 everything else was in penny numbers, a single artic, a couple of O405Ns, a handful of Vario size minibuses and a 37 seat OH1418. It was not surprising then when all forty were disposed of, Transit Systems taking 34 for their new operation in Sydney.
