Whitsunday Transit Yellow Submarine MAN Coach Design
We have already seen one of Whitsunday Transit's MAN coaches in the, what will now appear, conventional livery. This one, as can be clearly seen, is something of an all over advert coach for the Yellow Submarine Tours of the reef in Whitsunday waters. This coach has an earlier style of Coach Design bodywork and is seen just entering the Airlie Beach resort on route to Proserpine Airport.

The windowless rear view of the coach shows how this panel has been put to good use. The coach is laying over at the Shute Harbour terminus.

Whitsunday Transit MAN coach & DeLuxe Denning
Seen alongside one of Deluxe's fleet of Denning decker coaches is one of Whitsunday's MAN coaches at Airlie Beach.

Whitsunday Transit Toyota Coaster 640CFK
Looking a little like a yellow submarine is this very typical Toyota Coaster. The vehicle, 640CFK, appears to be used primarily on private hire, despite the bus service routing being writ large along both sides. These Japanese vehicles are widely used by bus and coach companies throughout Australia, and unlike the UK, they don't conflict with Construction & Use Regulations, which only makes the UK examples acceptable with separate coachbuilt bodywork, as with the Toyota Caetano Optimo. The Coaster is seen at the Cannonvale depot of Whitsunday Transit.

Whitsunday Transit UD Nissan
Also at the Cannonvale depot, and probably not used too often, was this old Custom bodied UD Nissan, which is believed to have been in the fleet for some years.
