 At the turn of the century, 442, was still hard at work on the famous Melbourne Restaurant car service. |
Tram 442 is seen again in April 2004 at the Southbank depot being readied for the lunchtime tour. Catering vans can be seen off to the right.

 On the evening tour in August 2002 is tram 939 heading down Flinders Street. |
 Seen from the Prince Hotel in Fitzroy Street in April 2007 are two cars on the early evening dinner tour with the spread of the sun setting over Port Phillip Bay behind. The tour is so popular that on occasion as many as three cars can be seen in convoy, especially over Christmas and New Year. The special service adds a new dimension to the concept of "Meals on Wheels"! |
