St Albert Transit New Flyer D60LF 815
St Albert Transit operates in its home city and services linking to nearby Edmonton where these iamges were taken. Indeed from 1974 to 1986 the operations were contracted to Edmonton Transit. New Flyer has long been the supplier of choice though the company used GM Fishbowls and briefly MCI Classics before settling on Flyers. Four Thomas SLF buses based on the Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart were bought in 2004/2005 but these have now been withdrawn. Seven BYD K9S electrics were acquired in 2017/18 but in 2022 they were the only non NFI buses in the fleet. From 2014 a new green livery arrived with the first Xcelsior models. Back in August 2007 we see New Flyer D60LF 815 in Downtown Edmonton.
