This rare 12 metre Alexander bodied AEC Reliance, 232 (VER262L) was one of a pair new in the standard two tone blue livery. At some point in the mid eighties it was sold to Percivals of Oxford and painted in their maroon and dark blue colours. Preserved, it appeared at Millennium Showbus in this cream and blue livery, though it is not known if it was ever used in service by Premier in these colours.

 Again 232 was seen at SHOWBUS in 2002. Though not photographed it continued to appear until 2005. |

 Forward to June 2013 and 232 is seen undergoing major restoration at the Oxford Bus Museum. |
 Six years later progress has been made, but thorough restoration is a painstakingly long process.
