 This picture of Yarra Trams 881 at the St Kilda Triangle in April 2007 was at a time when W class trams made regular weekend appearances on the 79 from North Richmond. In 2012 the 79 only came to St Kilda in the evenings and used Class Z units, like Z1 88 alongside in this picture on route 16, the 79 later became worked by A-class trams and terminated at Balaclava and numbered 78. |
 The 78 became one of the lasts service routes regularly worked by Class W trams in Melbourne. Their classic looks were at home in the eclectic mix of offerings on Chapel Street, where 881 is seen in December 2012. |
 Car 881 is seen again in January the following year on Chapel. The service has gone awry with a second car close behind. |
 Back in March 2012 881 heads north on Chapel to North Richmond. |
 At the end of October that year 881 is seen having just left the Balaclava terminus where the tram waits in the middle of the road before taking up the north bound track. |
