 Two coaches are waiting for the evening departure later that day. In front, headed for Rotorua is 12 (JTC904). The coach behind is unlikely to be 10 as it would not have had time to be serviced before returning south.

 Finally back to where we started at the Howick depot where 19 (KTT492), the last doubledeck Volvo B11RT to be delivered was another parked at the back of the yard, with 7, 14, 17 and 15. Like 15 and 1, this too was capable of conversion to a 39 bed sleeper. It is alongside another Kiwi bodied vehicle, Scania K320UB 265 (JBL125) in somber AT metro livery.
