Phoenix Travel Leyland Olympian JTY371X
Many were puzzled by the appearance of this bus at Millennium Showbus. FirstGroup had not been acquiring Olympians secondhand from Go-Ahead. The bus belongs to a now defunct company called Phoenix, set up specifically to operate home to school transport for the Essex Grammar Schools. First supply the engineering back up and it is thought the crews. This used to be Northern General 3611 (JTY371X), Phoenix 5001.
First
Konect Leyland Nationals DAR120T & SAE755S
These two smart Mark I Nationals of Anglian operator Konect at Millennium Showbus were both recent acquisitions from the Trent fleet, though DAR120T originated with Eastern National as their 1898 - the other was Bristol 3052 (SAE755S).

Hedingham Omnibus Bristol LH UVX7X
Slightly more modern Bristol/ECW products, Cardiff LHS 105 (LUH105P), now preserved, alongside ex Eastern National and now Hedingham, L114 (UVX7S). Both are seen at Showbus in 1999.

Ex Thamesway Mercedes Reeve Burgess 364
Originally Thamesway 364 (H375OHK), this Mercedes 709D with Reeve Burgess 23 seat bus bodywork is seen at Handy Cross, High Wycombe on a school contract with a non descript operator. Note the Motts coach in the background.

Newquay Street Safe bristol VR
Originally Eastern National 3115, VR XHK220X passed to Thamesway when the company was split in 1990 and then headed to the West Country and fellow Badgerline fleet, Western National as their 1250 in 1992. The bus became 38920 in the First renumbering and in 2004 passed to Restormel Council for their Street Safe initiative. It is seen in the Newquay First Western National depot yard at Newquay in June 2005. It has seen two liveries with Restormel Council, three with WN, one with Thamesway and two the ENOC, having started in NBC green.
