Arriva the Shires Volvo B10B Plaxton Verde
3855 (N415NRG) arrived with Arriva having been intended for services with Go-Ahead in the North East. It was diverted to then new Go-Ahead subsidiary, City of Oxford, complete with Newcastle registrations. When Oxford acquired the Wycombe bus operations of the disintegrating Bee Line, 615 (as it then was) was transferred from Oxford to Wycombe Bus with six other singledoor buses of the same type: Volvo B10B/Plaxton Verde. The buses performed principally on the 328 and 329 services to Reading which used to be shared with Reading Buses. As seen in the Volvo singledeck gallery the route was branded "Thames Valley Line" and in 2006 became increasingly worked by doubledeckers. 3855 was treated to a repaint in the new premium style of Arriva livery with promotional vinyls about the new "Connexions" arrangements in Wycombe with services to Amersham, Aylesbury, Slough and Reading timed to leave at 15 and 45 minutes past each hour to enable through connections. The bus is seen one morning in June 2006 in West Street, Marlow in its new guise and complete with new digital destination blind - as widely deployed on Wycombe vehicles, but not the Plaxton Verdes! In this instance clicing on the above photo will take you to the pages devoted to the bus' conflagatory demise.

Subsequently 341 (N621FJO) has acquired the interurban livery for the Reading services, but not the Connexions branding. It is seen in Marlow in summer 2007.
