Abellio Dennis Trident Alexander ALX400 9838
Abellio inherited a large number of Dennis Trident with Alexander ALX400 bodies, favoured by both Connex and Travel London. Trident 9838 (KN52NDZ) however was new to Armchair as their DT16, but passed to Metroline when they took Armchair over. The batch of ex Armchair Tridents were released by Metroline when their leases expired. The bus is seen crossing the Thames on route to St Paul's (Cathedral) in September 2011.

Seen sneaking through the old BOAC terminal, which now serves as an annex to Victoria Coach Station, is Trident 9812 (LG52HWN). The bus was seen in early May 2012 and was new as Connex TA112. It is passing Megabus 54005 (CN07BAU) a Plaxton Panther triaxle Volvo B11RT from South Wales.

Together at Lewisham Bus Station in July 2014 and both headed for Crystal Palace are former Connex Alexander ALX400 Trident TA40 (YN51KUV), now Abellio 9740 on route 157 and Arriva Alexander Dennis Pointer Dart PDL125 (LJ56ARF) on route 410. Note the Trident's unorthodox blue doors.
