 Whilst VLA148 was still hard at work, DAF DLA147 (V347DGT) had entered preservation and is seen arriving in the spectacular grounds of Woburn Abbey.

 At SHOWBUS5O preserved DLA1 (R101GNW) carried off the prize for the best bus of its decade. It is the first bus pictured in this gallery when newly in service in 1998.
