Still at Slough in 2011, MB90 loads behind RM188. The Routemaster is doing a run on the 457 to Uxbridge, which used to be the preserve of green painted RMLs. Note that the green and yellow country livery predates the advent of London Country, being introduced with the Merlins.

Later in the day MB90 is caught resting in the Station Car Park with a visiting RF, some RTs and Routemasters.

An interesting mix of vehicles round the back of Slough's Brunel Bus Station many years earlier. On the left is an Alder Valley ECW bodied RELL on the 22B to Eton Wick. On the right a London Country AEC Merlin (MBS418) on the Farnham Road 446 service and in the middle, a Bournemouth Corporation Willowbrook bodied Daimler Roadliner on hire to London Country.

BTS AEC Merlin - Borehamwood depot
An eclectic mix of vehicles at BTS' depot in the company's early days. In the forefront is former Green Line Leyland Tiger, Duple Dominant TD25 (YPD125Y). On the left of the picture are an ex London Swift in blue and a former Newport Corporation Metro-Scania. The red doubledeckers for tendered route 292 are Alexander bodied Metrobuses, originally from Scotland.

ex London Transport AEC Merlin in Malta
A former Swift is seen in Malta, which became home to several of the forlorn London fleet - as did Belfast.
