GREEN LINE

The banner here introduced the Green Line display celebrating 75 years of Green Lines. SHOWBUS also celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of Green Line whilst at Woburn Abbey and the 1990 rally plaques were sponsored by Green Line. The Jubilee introduced the post NBC diamond logo used by Green Line until quite recently.

This central part of the Green line display primarily reflects the NBC days. One new Van Hool bodied DAF in the latest livery from Arriva the Shires joins AEC Reliance Park Royal RP21 in NBC DP livery, in a livery which obviously got exemption from NBC is AEC Reliance Duple RB51 and National SNC168 in NBC DP. Green Line RFs flank the line up.

The traditional Green Line fleet was well represented by RFs in a variety of liveries and styles, including a modernised RF. RCL2233 is seen alongside a Green Line RT and a surprise late entry, T792 (HLX462) which sported a Green Line blind for the occasion.

Tagged on the end of the line up was LNC45 from the Dover Transport Museum, the bus having had some form of mobile display use recently, but will hopefully be restored to its NBC DP livery reflecting the LNC EFE model released in 2005.
