Behind the Plaxton line up, with the BOAC VC10 as a back drop, the new Elite looked like it was the model that was most likely to take off.
York Pullman Volvo Plaxton
Dudleys' 1999 Volvo B10M won prizes at both Showbus and the Brighton Coach Rally. York Pullman's 2001 B10M is another example of how well presented middle aged Plaxton coaches can look. Despite its eight years, a classy paint job, airhorns, extra lights, etc make Y836HHE a flagship model for York Pullman's distinctive fleet.

Plymouth Citycoach
All the way from Plymouth, Citycoach 312 (JSK265) a Volvo B10M arrives at SHOWBUS to take its place in the Plaxton line up.

Middleton's of Rugeley Bedford YRQ Plaxton
Middletons of Rugeley's Plaxton Panorama Elite III bodied Bedford YRQ, 69 (KPC204P), was new to Harding of Bletchworth in 1975. Middletons was taken over by Midland Red.

Bedford VAL Plaxton
Next to the oldest Plaxton at SHOWBUS, Neil Millington's 1958 Wallace Arnold AEC Reliance, was a Bedford VAL70/Plaxton, recently acquired by R S Webb & Sons. The 1968 VAL, as the lettering testifies, was used on the Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour in Liverpool.
