 A Volvo Olympian and Dennis Dart, both with Northern Counties bodies, near Dartford Station in June 2007. The Olympian was new to Maidston & District as 5907 (K507SKR) whereas the Dart was new to Kentish Bus & Coach as 156 (L156YVK) - now 3156 - its Newcastle registration reflecting the then control of Proudmutual, the parent company of Northumbria. |

 A more substantial Kentish Bus purchase was 255 (N255BKK) a Scania L113CRL with Wright bodywork, now 3255 and seen arriving at Bluewater in 2007. The bus saw further service with Connexions Buses in Harrogate. |

 Early SLF Dart 3176 (P176LKJ) was specially painted in old Maidstone Corporation colours to commemorate the centenary of the Maidstone fleet which was taken over by Arriva. The bus is seen at the 2004 North Weald Rally. |
