First Devon & Cornwall Bristol VRTSL3 ECW 38597
Once Bristol Omnibus C5103 (PHY697S) became First Devon & Cornwall 38597. Still doing yeoman service in May 2005, it is seen arriving in Truro on the 89 service between Newquay and Falmouth. The bus was at one time converted to single door, this is more obvious when seen from the offside where the decency panel is still midside with the staircase. Sadly the VR is looking a little care worn.

In May 2005 Bristol VR buses were still sharing the Torpoint ferry service with the new Tamar Link pink Dennis Tridents. This VR approaches the ferry terminal on the Plymouth side.
