United Counties Bristol VRTSL6G ECW 765
Seen in Gloucester Green, Oxford, is new Bristol VRTSL6G 765 (WRP765J) on the trunk route to Bedford.

United Counties Bristol VRTSL6G ECW 753
Gone are the days when buses drove around Aylesbury's Market Square, let alone stop outside the County Courts - so often featured in the TV show "Judge John Deed". The VR, 753 (RRP753G), is seen on Aylesbury town service 369 to Stoke Mandeville Hospital. These days town services perform convoluted loops around the town to call at the bus and rail stations, but avoid the town itself!

United Counties Bristol VRTSL6G ECW
A lovely Spring day at Wingrave Crossroads outside Aylesbury for this VR on the 141 to Bedford. The service ultimately truncated at Leighton Buzzard and then continued to Milton Keynes, but lost the 141 route number along the way.

United Counties Bristol VRTSL6G ECW 798
Seen here in Luton's Castle Street depot is Bristol VRTSL6G 798 (JRP798L) which had been painted in the Luton Borough Council Centenary livery to celebrate 100 years of the Borough of Luton in 1976. The bus had been due for its first repaint, being three years old. Strangely ex-Cumberland Bristol LD 580 (ORM136) was treated to the same scheme.

United Counties Shopabout Bristol VRTSL6G ECW 801
Another non standard livery for this Milton Keynes based VRTSL6G 801 (JRP801L). The bus was marketing the unusual "Shopabout" ticket which cost £2.50, but you then paid 10p a trip on top.
