More second hand Leyland Olympian aquisitions by East Yorkshire have come from London United. Numbered 648 (G296UYK) in the East Yorkshire fleet, this all Leyland Olympian once operated on London United's 111 Heathrow Airport service.

East Yorkshire Motor Services Northern Counties Olympian 618
A large batch of about ten Northern Counties Olympians was aquired by East Yorkshire in 1998 from Eastbourne Buses. Fleet number 619 (E854DPN) had recently emerged from the paintshop, when this photo was taken, wearing the new cream skirt instead of black as shown on the Olympian to the left.

Bought in 1995 was a large batch of Alexander Royale bodied Volvo Olympians for the Classic Line services linking Hull with the rest of East Yorkshire. Here 591 (N591BRH) is on layover in Hull after a long journey from Scarborough on the 121.

Many of East Yorkshire's modern double deckers carry the Northern Counties Palatine I body as shown by the two pictured here. The vehicle on the left is badged as a Volvo Olympain and the one on the right a Leyland. The bus on the left is one of the P-SAT batch which were originally ordered by Stagecoach, but delivered to East Yorkshire.
