 New in March Volgren Optimus bodied Volvo B7RLE 145 (BS00RN) is seen next to O'Donnell Gardens in St Kilda in December 2014. The bus is running out of Oakleigh depot and its presence in St Kilda will be linked to the former Driver route 623 to Glen Waverley.

 Seen under Flinders Street Christmas decorations the same month is Volgren CR228L bodied Scania K230UB, 122 (7510AO), a former Eastrans bus on their 605 route.

 In February the following year, seen on St Kilda's Fitzroy Street is Volvo B7RLE 121 (8066AO), not to be confused with Eastrans 121 (6160AO), another Volgren CR228L, but on a Mercedes O500LE chassis. This bus was a former Westrans fleet member with red relief, not Eastrans green, easy to tell apart, but not so easy in all pervading PTV livery. The bus, since renumbered 221, is on the 606 route from Fishermens Bend to St Kilda which used to run infrequently, but had just been given a boost and extended beyond St Kilda to Elsternwick, where it is headed. Alongside is a new Bombardier E Class Yarra Tram, 6009.

 Seen at Werribee Station in December 2015 is former Driver Volgren bodied Iveco Metro 22 (1022AO) of 1986. The bus had been tranferred from Oakleigh depot across to the former Westrans operation on the other side of the city. It still reatins its Driver fleet number, as did the rest of the vehicles taken over as they fitted in below the numbers of exisiting CDC fleet members. Picture ref B1847 |
