 At the St Kilda terminus of route 96 in Acland Street Combini 3535 sits in the middle of the street as cars squeeze by on either side. Controversially the spot where 3535 sits has been pedestrianised, a proper two line terminus station being provided a short way down Acland Street and cars being prevented from turning into or out of Acland into Barkly Street. Of equal interest in this December 2013 view is the use of one of the three section Combino trams on the 96, long displav=ced by the longer five section versions. |
